Dave Richins is principal of Southwest Policy Advocates. Dave is a prominent figure in the East Valley and known for his dedicated service and contributions to the community.
His impacts include serving as President and Chief Executive Officer at the United Food Bank, two terms as Mesa City Council Member from 2009 to 2017, as well as senior roles at the Sonoran Institute and Rio Tinto in which he focused on policy approaches to energy, water, large scale land use and conservation. Through all of these roles he focused on donor, constituent and stakeholder engagement. He has served on the Arizona Power Plant and Line Siting Committee for 7 years.
Dave earned a BA in Environmental Studies from Prescott College with a minor in Leadership Development.
